IAME (pronounced I -am -me) is a solo MC from the City of Thornz, and is the newest member of the Oldominion family. At just 21, he has been featured on many albums, including his own full length entitled “Noise Complaints” which he independently released himself. He is also a member of the Sand People - a Portland collective of MC’s and producers that have released two full length albums entitled “Points of View” and the latest release “All In Vain”. He has worked with members of both crews for different projects including an album with Gold from the Sand People for a side group called Clockwerk, and guest appearances on upcoming releases from Smoke, Syndel, and Mr. Hill of Oldominion. When not working on music in the studio, IAME is performing it live anywhere that he can. Whether slaying live shows in Portland with Clockwerk, or touring the Northwest while opening up for (and driving) the Chicharones, IAME will get the show started or tear it apart at the end all depending on what time slot he’s given. He has opened up for such artists as Awol-one, Typical Cats, Pep-Love, One Be Lo, 2mex, E-40, Jurassic 5, Likwit Junkies, DJ Babu, Freestyle Fellowship, and Guru (Gangstarr).

Album Bio:

Noise Complaints, the debut solo album from IAME, is over 73 minutes of raw hip-hop, with intelligent wordplay and incredible production, from one of the Northwest's top up and coming MCs. Inspired by both the beauty and the gloom of the rain-soaked City of Thornz (Portland, Oregon), and the constant drama and demons that surround him, Noise Complaints is simply one man's way of venting, questioning life, and trying to keep his head up even when it seems like there is no hope left. IAME guides the listener through the murky depths of his mind while each song is like a recorded complaint about everything that eats away at him and annoys the hell out of him; ranging from Cops and neighbors trying to turn the music down, traffic jams, and wack rappers who pretend to be gangsta, to more serious topics such as addiction, our current open ended war, and spiritual battles to remain a good person in the face of so much temptation. The album has guest appearances from Gold, Toni Hill, Soul Plasma, Smoke and NyQwil and features production from Simple and Sapient of the Sand People as well as EarthFire music (Smoke and Zebulon Dak of Oldominion). Support Independent music and pick up Noise Complaints because the revolution won't be televised, but it sure as hell can bang out of your speakers.
