synopsis: Azrael? What can I say there is none like him; indeed he has a
passion for his music. With a powerful voice and penetrating lyrics,
Azrael captivates his audience with his stern voice; an emotional
melancholy of spiritual epics, trials, tribulations, Angels and demons,
darkness and light and the never ending struggle between flesh and
spirit. 'The Capstone of Oldominion', as he is titled; Azrael makes sure
that the crew is held together no matter how long and how far apart they
live from each other. He watches over his kindred, like a guardian,
making sure they never stray from there path that their Heavenly FATHER
has planned for them- but we will keep that our little secret. Azrael
started mceeing in 1986 with his twin brother Ramiel(Also known as Efla
Demon Child, or Kehinde Howell) in Brooklyn, New York where they were
born. They were influenced by pioneers of hip hop such as Big Daddy
Kane, Rob Base, LL Cool J, Run DMC, NWA, Slick Rick, Doug E Fresh.
Azrael and his brother left NY in 1989 and moved to Indiana to live with
there father in order to get away from the big city. There in Indiana he
started to develop his own creative style that was quite unorthodox.
With an old english type accent and poetic lyrics, he voiced his pain in
the form of the angel of death. In 1996 Azrael left the midwest and
moved to his place of destiny, his home in WeastWick, known as Seattle.
It was his faith in his FATHER(G-D) that made him take that big step to
move out to the Northwest were he would be rekindled with his heavenly
family, Oldominion. Destiny brought him to the Weastwick, City of Thorns
were he, through a mutual friend named Riff Raff, was reintroduce to his
brethren that he knew of before flesh. He was welcomed with opened arms
when he met up with Oracles Creed (Onry, Sleep, and Pale Soul).He was
amazed that he was not alone with his spiritual lyrical content, and
felt right at home. Born a Hebrew, Azrael uses his faith and way of
life to teach others that we are not so different, and never be afraid
to share your faith in G-d......... Shalom
