At 23, Gash (aka Gash the Golden Gorilla aka Harlem Honeycutt aka God's Anger) may be one of oldominion's youngest members, but his commanding stage presence and take-no-prisoners delivery make his age irrelevant. Down with the crew since he traded in the actual razor blades in his mouth for the metaphorical kind at the age of 18, the Golden Gorilla has rocked shows from Portland OR to Missoula MT to Vancouver BC and back down to Seattle alongside the likes Xzibit, Rass Kass, Aesop Rock, Murs, and Cannibal Ox. And while his style may bely his East Coast roots, his subject matter is decidedly Weastwickian. Drawing from a mix of military family upbringing, acute spirituality borne out of personal tragedy, and a surprisingly keen sense of political awareness, Gash is at once socially conscious and thugged the fuck out.
Gash's guerilla verses have been featured on tracks off of Oldominion's Negative One and a Half, as well as two of Onry Ozzborn's solo efforts (Owleye and The Grey Area) and Epoch, the EP release from Dim Mak, the side project endeavor he shares with Bishop I and Azrael of Oldominion
